Thomas Coville sets new world sailing record to win the Jules Verne Trophy

Coville  together with Benjamin Schwartz, Frédéric Denis, Pierre Leboucher, Léonard Legrand, Guillaume Pirouelle and Nicolas Troussel crossed the finish line after 40 days, 10 hours, 45 minutes and 50 seconds at sea in their 32-meter trimaran Sodebo Ultim 3 to set a new record for the fastest sail around the world - beating Francis Jyon's time (40 days, 23 hours, 30 minutes, 30 seconds) by twelve hours
