Sam Goodchild skippers LEYTON to victory on Pro Sailing Final Rush race

The Ocean Fifty trimaran LEYTON, skippered by Sam GOODCHILD, crossed the finish line in Brest, France on Saturday night at 20:45 local time to become the first winner of the Pro Sailing tour 2021 Final Rush offshore race. LEYTON covered the 1600-mile Final Rush, offshore between Toulon in the Mediterranean and Brest on the Atlantic, in 5 days, 10 hours, and 15 minutes at an average speed of 12.51 knots.


LEYTON was followed by ARKEMA crossing the line in second at 21:37:37 in 5 days 11 hours and 7 minutes (average speed 12.43 knots) and ARSEP - Solidaires en Peloton in third place at 21:38:34 in 5 days 11 hours.
