The Sailing Instructions are now available and we would encourage all skippers and crew members to read them.

On race weekend B&G will be joined by Hudson Marine at their Race Support Van from Friday afternoon.  The Team will be on hand to help competitors optimise their electronics setup before the race and will be visiting any boats in need, to help with any niggles and last-minute fixes that can make the difference come race day. So don’t be shy, if your electronics are giving you a headache, come and ask the team who will be happy to help.

 

On race day, B&G will be welcoming everyone to experience the latest range of B&G products first hand. While you are there, why not take a moment to enter B&G’s prize loaded ‘Plinko’ game, you just might be lucky enough to walk away with some nice merchandise!

 

Helly Hansen in partnership with the RNLI will hold a Lifejacket Clinic outside the Helly Hansen Cowes store (121 High St, Cowes, PO31 7AY) on Friday 14June, between 15:00 and 18:00. Visit their stand in the Official Hospitality Venue on The Parade to take part in their ‘Ready Steady Crew’ challenge to race the clock and get dressed head-to-toe in a RNLI rescue outfit. The Official Race Collection will be available to purchase from both the HH store and stand.

 

Plan your shoreside experience


All competitors, race supporters, spectators and visitors are welcome at the Official Hospitality Venue on The Parade in Cowes, and it will be open throughout the race weekend.  

 

Both the Race Briefing (Friday 14 June 18:00) and Prize Giving (Sunday 16 June 12:00) will take place on the stage, weather permitting (or in the Crew Bar Marquee.

 

Make plans to meet up with friends at the Crew Bar and enjoy the delicious food at the Food Court which includes stands from local vendors - The Garden, Honey Donuts and Island Ice. Like to organise a Crew Supper on Friday or Saturday? Blind Tiger will be offering these at 19:30, booking essential www.blindtigeriw.com). Enjoy a cocktail and pizzas on the waterside at The Mermaid Garden. All competitors are welcome at the Island Sailing Club bar and terrace.    

There will be live music all weekend including popular bands - Blonde Bombshell (Friday 21:00) and Cornerstone (Saturday 21:00).
