Speed, power, and adrenaline: the UIM XCAT World Championship is back to set the waters on fire!

The wait is over. From February 14 to 16, Fujairah (United Arab Emirates) will host the opening round of the UIM XCAT World Powerboat Championship 2025, the most thrilling offshore powerboat racing series in the world. Three days of non-stop action, with two high-intensity races over the weekend, will mark the start of an electrifying new season.
 
The XCAT powerboats, true beasts of the sea capable of exceeding 200 km/h, will once again battle it out as 10 elite teams compete for supremacy. Only the best drivers in the world will have what it takes to claim victory, pushing the limits of skill, strategy, and pure determination.
 
This season promises to be even more thrilling with the return of two American legends, Shaun Torrente and Gary Ballough, icons of offshore powerboat racing, ready to reclaim their dominance. But that’s not all: Norway’s Energima Racing Team will make its highly anticipated debut, featuring an exceptional lineup with Erik Sundblad Johansen and Marit Strømøy, both seasoned competitors in the powerboat world.
